in-application messaging system

Sometimes we need to communicate important messages about your account.

We use the in-app messaging system to communicate with any accounts with the role of 'Store Manager'.


Types of message might include the following:

  • Commercial
    • Your credit card has expired
    • You are out of contract
    • Your trial is about to end
  • Setup
    • You have not completed the following setup steps:
      • finalise your payment provider.
  • Operational
    • You have the following operational issues:
      • this reservation XYZ contains a broken bike.



Here is an example of how the system-wide message can look:

please note:

  • the top-bar message.
  • the 1 against your trial indicator - showing you have 1 day remaining.
